Cicero is basically defined some points which form the basis of whether a message is received as credible by the reader. Here I made a quick listing of these items and how they can be viewed in conjunction with the blog and its purpose.
Rhetorician:
Raymond Christian Ortiz
Student @ IT University of Copenhagen
Audience:
My primary audience is the lecturers, examiners and fellow students.
The secondary is friends, family and whoever else stumbling across my blog out in cyberspace.
Context:
The blog will primarily be considered in conjunction with teaching and examination by DMD E2009.
Furthermore, it must be read in conjunction with my personal goals, business and development through the coming 3 years.
Purpose:
The purpose of the blog is to document and disseminate the process we have gone through in semester 3 courses.
In addition, it is personal to disseminate ideas and discussions and to inform them.
Genre:
Professional tool + communications platform.
Medium:
The platform is a WordPress blog.
Language:
I will try to keep an informal tone in my post, to give a more personal expression. There will, however, in connection with the mandatory hand ins, be posts where the language will be formally and in the attachments sometimes academic. I’ve chosen to write this blog in English since I also want to give the students at Georgia Tech and opportunity to further acquaint themselves with what we have accomplished and who we are. However, a lot of the mandatory material is written in Danish, and is only unfortunate that not everybody will be able to understand it.
